Posted November 27, 2024 Ive been a benefactor in past times. I'll get it done once again after the holidays. But its not really an itch. Nothing in particular I'm looking for.
Now I know not as many people list on Armslist as a couple of years in the past since it acquired pricey. I also look for the E-Classifieds (an Eastman thing) , Guns Tennessee (all free but not many listings), and Gun Owners Club (lots of listings but seems like mostly the Nashville area). Even the Eastern KY Armslist hasnt had a posting in three days. Boone NC provides a total of fifteen listings. Even Roanoke VA is bare bones lately. I dont mind traveling to get a gun that I want, and I made many trips to Knoxville over the years which is almost two hrs away. But any farther than that and its like on a daily basis trip-lol. Nashville is four hours from me. two

I was not really looking for anything but went to look, so I don't know if there were any deals, failed to really look at prices much. I ran across an event on the show website near Westmoreland. Place called Ole Milliken Store includes a gun/knife trader show every second Saturday. I plan on checking it out as I like observing what normal people have rather than dealers. I am able to always see new stuff at local dealers. 1

Maybe a bit off subject matter, but has anyone from E TN noticed a very very low volume of guns for sale in the area? Armslist is apparently dead recently. Otherwise for the Vendor listings, and also the Knoxville individuals that list inside the Tri-Cities also, there would hardly be any guns for sale. And when I simply click the Bristol VA Armslist, the last gun posted was 73 damn days back-lol. I used to be thinking maybe it absolutely was an election thing, but now that ****show is over.
Jonesborough, TN Posted November 28, 2024 I know a lot of you don't like gun shows much but went towards the gun show in Gray (NE TN) on the 17th and it was one of the better shows there considering that in advance of covid for suppliers.
Harrison, TN Posted November 27, 2024 Generally i’ve not really viewed much offered in south east TN, albeit only a five years sample of time. The population is just also small Agree quantity is down recently. But I see it as consistent with the usual cycle where worry drops and we enter into a glut, then prices drop. AR’s absolutely are a good indicator of overall market situation IMO. Notice discounts and rebates are coming back post pandemic driven shortages and pricing.

Shelbyville Posted November 27, 2024 (edited) I too will renew my benefactor status after the holidays. We had some unpredicted vet price that threw our spending plan out. Then a trip to Hamilton Overlook to get another dog. Anyway, I have observed a couple of sites that shut down after The brand new dealer rules were declared. Armslist went to crap. I hadn't noticed a decline in available market, probably simply because I am not significantly looking in the mean time but whatever, I am Generally looking.
